Thinnest office building on the corner of Pender and Carrall streets in Chinatown. Built in 1913 and currently occupied by a regular operating business, the Sam Kee Building is only 1.8 metres (six feet) wide. Needless to say, they can't have too many employees working at the same time!

The swinging pendulum in the HSBC building

A most spectacular building consisting of a very impressive glass atrium which contains one of the best peices of installation art I have ever seen. Swinging across the space is a 50m high stainless steel pendulum

Back after a nine-year hiatus, the 2002 Steamworks Tour de Gastown was  the 21st running of one of North America's most prestigious criterium cycling races, with a long list of previous winners who read like a who's-who of Canadian and American cycling.
