Perth

After a three and a quarter hour flight from Adelaide we arrived on a very warm (30+oC) Sunday afternoon.

The city centre was very busy with people out enjoying the sunshine.  We set off on a walking tour of the city to enjoy the architecture and sights of this the most isolated city in the World.

Freemantle

('Freo to the locals) is a laid back suburb of Perth that retains it's own character.  The historic architecture has been retained (and restored for when the Americas Cup was hosted here).

Freemantle Prison

This was one of the first building tasks of the prisoners arriving in the 1850's.  It was an active prison until 1991.
