Cairns to Cape Tribulation

The drive north from Cairns to Cape Tribulation is as far as you can go without a 4WD.  Our eventual overnight was Port Douglas just an hour north of Cairns.

'stingers' are a real menace on this coast.  There are caches of vinegar at every access point to the beach, although this is only to relieve the pain.

The worrying thing is that cardio-pulmonary resuscitation is also required!
