Singapore
The tide was very low at Mersing so we had to transfer
to a much smaller boat out at sea to enable us to get to the harbour.
Kairen really enjoyed that!!!
|
even when we got to the harbour we had to cross another
boat to dry land. (with all our luggage). |
Nautical adventures over, we drove for 3 hours with a
kamikaze 'bus pilot', who was determined to make up time we had lost at
sea.
We crossed the border from Malaysia to Singapore and
entered a very different country.....
Our hotel was just a couple of minutes from the river
and Clarke Quay which we had enjoyed on previous visits to Singapore.
