They have sold the existing brewery equipment to a company in
Tasmania...they are building a new one next door

The 'Blues & Roots Festival is on in the Esplanade Park for the
week-end.
We go home and sit on our patio listening to KT Tunstall, Sinead
O'Connor, and Don McLean!

We drive up to Whiteman Park for the Classic Car Show

Glenys & Pat at Fremantle Railway Station waiting for our train to Perth
for a day out in the city |
We arrive in Perth early to allow us time to wander through the main
shopping areas on our way to the Jetty
|
Perth is a wonderful mixture of beautiful old and new architecture

The Swan Bell Tower at Barrack Street Jetty.
This was built to house the bells of St Martin-in-the-fields in London.
The bells were given to Perth to commemorate Australia's bicentenary in
1988.

We did the 'tourist' thing and went on the open topped bus tour of the
City

We got off the bus in King's Park to admire the wonderful Perth Skyline

We stopped at the State War Memorial with the eternal Flame and Cenotaph
