We were all awake at 3.00 and making cups of tea. Glenys came down for a 'snack'. We eventually managed to get some more sleep between 5.00 and 7.00 when we got up properly. It was a clear blue sky with a temperature forecast of 36c. Even Glenys might not need her cardi!
We picked the car up and went straight to Doug's to collect all our goodies from Jeanie's Shed. Laurie filled the car with the bikes and boxes and took them back to the house while Glenys and I had a cuppa with Doug. Laurie came back and Jeanie joined us. It was lovely to see them again. Jeanie is excited about her trip over to us later in the year.
Shopping was interesting with nearly half a brain cell between us wandering up and down the aisles trying to think what we needed. Our visit to the market was just as good three zombies wandering around in charge of shopping bags!
The plan was to stay awake! had a relaxing afternoon and then onto the strip in the evening for dinner. Two bottles of BYO we visited our favourite Italian Bella Roma. It was a great way to start our visit.
We were all awake early so lazed around in PJ's drinking tea and coffee. Back to the markets to buy what we had forgotten yesterday! Then mooched around town. Ice coffee at the E sheds before going for our first paddle at bathers beach.
Being the concerned visitors that we are we called in Little Creatures Loft for a beer to help with the brewing economy. Sat on the veranda people watching at Cicerello's.
Home and tried to keep each other awake.
