We start the mornings slowly, lazy breakfast, lots of coffee....well that was the plan today until the pipe to the tap in our en-suite exploded. Water everywhere.

Blue sky sunshine and a gentle breeze. Our neighbours John and Sue from Barlborough were arriving in Freo on the Diamond Princess....the biggest cruise ship ever to stop in Freo.
They were due in at 8.00. However, the strong winds had delayed their ship until noon! We changed the time of the prison tour we had booked for them the day previous..before heading to the docks to watch this amazing and very beautiful ship glide in. It was so busy down there that we struggled to park up.

We met them and drove up through Cottesloe to City Beach where we all had a paddle in the Indian Ocean before heading back to Freo. Had a snack on the Strip, which was busy with cruise ship people. Managed to get their prison tour in before it was time to visit Creatures for a couple of beers.
Boy were we tired when we got home. There was no need to be on a ship because we didn't need any rocking at all!
