We got there to find Wendy and David dressed for the occasion and parked, thankfully, under a tree. We set our chairs up and made polite conversation with the people admiring the car. Jason, Kim and Lily joined us which was lovely

Monday 16th March 33c
It was a stinking hot day so we walked out to the South Mole (entrance to the harbour) for a breeze. There wasn't much and we got so hot walking back home I'm not sure it was such a good idea after all. Headed an hour down the road to Pinjarra to Mandy & Grants for dinner. Had a surf and turf BBQ... a few mandatory beers and stayed over.

Tuesday 17th 26c..... phew! relief
Left Pinjarra and made our way up the coast road to Rockingham,. It was a cloudy morning and the sea was a bit rough but there on the beach were a school group of tots 4/5 year old running in and out of the water having a great time. Now the sea isn't warm at the best of times but these little ones didn't care. It was wonderful to see kids being allowed to be kids.
