January continued
25th January 2010 Statue in the town centre | 26th January 2010 - Australia Day  Our first land based Australia Day's. Previously we have travelled up the Swan River on David & Wendy's boat |
 These people are about to be made Australian citizens at the Fremantle ceremony in the park. |  We had a couple of beers in Creatures (to celebrate the day) |
 Biplanes overhead |  We joined Wendy, David, Doug & Jean at the Sailing Club for a BBQ |

 Laurie's found a new friend to BBQ with (no idea who he is...a complete stranger! ...but he was from Yorkshire) |  Our steaks were cooked to perfection by the Dynamic Trio |
 |  Fremantle put on it's own firework display ('Cracker Night'), and they were very good. |

 Laurie's found some more strangers friends, this time from The Wirral | 27th January  Breakfast next morning was 'delicate' |
 we force-fed David Marmite |  Vowing to only drink water, we celebrated Jade's birthday at Mount Lawley. Christian & Jade |

 another boogy dog |  Having seen the ill-fated Ady Gill in Hobart, we see the Steve Irwin in dock for resupply before heading back into the Antarctic and the Japanese whaling fleet. |

30th January 2010  No, Laurie isn't quite needing this yet. We need to make space for Grant & Mandy's car |  Mandy & Grant face sucking! |

 a few bottles of wine down and a curry...we call for a beer at The Sail & Anchor. (it seemed like a good idea at the time!) | 31st January 2010 it didn't seem quite such a good idea the next morning...and it's Mandy's birthday! |
