You can't come to Fremantle without going to see Perth, so we had an early start and took Julie & Stuart on the train.
It had to be a fairly swift tour because the plan was to take the ferry back from Perth to Freo. Recent changes to the timetable meant that the last ferry was at 2pm. |

The statue of Percy Button. He was a local street entertainer and one of Perth's best known faces from the 1920's to the 1950's. Performing somersaults and handstands, Percy entertained people for a few shillings while they waited to see films, newsreels and theatrical performances at the theatres that were concentrated in what is now the Hay Street Mall |

Tuesday's are now official 'tea at Pam's' days. Her efforts at night school on Mondays are greatly appreciated. |
